One of the laboratory activity is aimed to the experimental investigation the interaction of species generated in plasma with the materials and to modelling aspects of energy transfers between plasma species (electrons, ions, atoms and molecules with internal excitations) and of the relevant elementary kinetics. Plasma Processing is other the most rapidly developing advanced technology fields dealing with the production and/or functionalization of new or enhanced materials for a wide range of high technical applications ranging from Printing to Nanotechnology and Packaging in this group.
